Who we are

Anjoh is a multivendor marketplace app that helps users discover nearby vendors and connect with them directly via WhatsApp Business. Anjoh does not process payments — all transactions happen between users and vendors outside of the app.

In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Anjoh. “You” refers to anyone using the Anjoh app or website.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to make the product work. This includes:

• Account details such as your name, phone number, and (optionally) email address.
• Approximate or precise location, so we can show you vendors near you. You can disable this in your device settings at any time.
• Device and usage information such as device model, operating system, app version, and crash reports.
• Vendor preferences such as searches, saved vendors, and recently viewed listings.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to operate the app, recommend nearby vendors, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Sharing with vendors and WhatsApp

When you tap to contact a vendor, you are taken into WhatsApp Business and your conversation happens directly between you and that vendor. Anjoh does not see, store, or moderate the contents of those conversations. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies once you leave the Anjoh app.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses a small number of cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are most visited). You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Children

Anjoh is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
